Has anybody ever seen the films based off of Stephen King's books? If your a person who doesn't like scary/thriller elements in films, then you'd probably not like his films. So far, I've seen:

Carrie: Not a bad film. Generally wasn't scary, but it was rather interesting. Plus I like Sissy Spacek and P.J. Soles, so it was all good to watch. I also saw the ending of the remake. I also want to see the sequel because it was filmed in my hometown in SC. lol

The Shining: It definitely has some eerie moments, but I didn't find it too scary. lol It was more confusing than scary.

It: >.< This film scared me when I was younger. I still haven't watched the whole thing from start to finish. I might attempt later. I read the book when I was like 10 and it was even worse than the movie. Worse, as in scarier.

Misery: Not scary, but very entertaining and a bit thrilling. The acting was great and Kathy Bates really seems like a psychopath in this film. xD

Storm of the Century: This was a TV film if I'm not mistaken. I saw it around 4 years ago and I was scared a few nights after that because I was living in the middle of nowhere in SC at the time. Freaked me out a bit, to say the least.

I liked Carrie and The Shining. It is probably one of my favorite movies. But I think his books are better than his movies, personally.

I've only read It, so I really wouldn't know. The movie cut out A LOT of plot points and the story was changed, with characters taking the place of other characters to cut others out. Apparently, they are remaking the film in 2011. I doubt they'll add too much of the stuff back in the novels because it included some really REALLY heavy subject matter. Too subject for a film to be Rated R. If I'm going to read a Stephen King book, it'll probably be Misery. I really liked that film.

I haven't read any of his books or seen the films, but I'm very interested. The clown one is a movie based off his book isn't it? I'm considering seeing that..

Yeah it is >.< Scary clown. Tim Curry done a really good job playing it, but the film just scares me to death.

It looks really good. I've seen a couple of scenes on TV, it was scary. Therefor it is awesome!

If a film scares you, you know it's a good one. xD It done what it was intended to do.

Stand By Me Is A Classic I Love It Proly My Fave
The Book Is Actually Called The Body lol The Book Is Good Too

Haven't read the book. I know that the film/book is much different than his usual since it's more of a coming-of-age story.
